ARTIST'S
HISTORY
|
Once a successful corporate graphic designer, Mr. Larson got
in touch with his talent for painting the landscape after a three-week
session at Vermont Studio Center in Johnson, Vermont. Under the suggestion
of his instructor, Gretna Campbell, he went outside to paint; the
spark was ignited, and Mr. Larson soon abandoned his career and headed
north to Vermont. He now paints year round out of doors, full-time.
Mr. Larson exhibits throughout New England and internationally and
his limited edition prints are represented by Scandecor International
of Uppsala, Sweden. Mr. Larson is featured at Robert
Paul Gallery.

"Larson's landscapes
rush across the canvas in great paint laden brush strokes--as
ravishing to the eye as Puccini is to the ear. The artist separates
color into its component parts, much the way a prism turns ordinary
light into a rainbow and boldly heightens reality." Burlington Free Press
